This Lingam is believed to grow throughout the period from May to August and gradually decreases thereafter. The cave is surrounded by snowy mountains.The amarnath climatic are uncertain. Rain or snowfall may come to pass at any time and any place during journey .sometimes temperature may fall up to minus degree C. Veshno devi is one of the most popular pilgrimage center in India which is dedicated to Devi Shakti. Every year millions of devotees visit this cave temple.
